Sports Video Group touts Pack Network
Sports Video Group, a New York-based professional organization dedicated to advancing the creation, production and distribution of sports content, featured Pack Network in a recent edition of the SVGU Insider newsletter. The article started by highlighting Pack Network's emerging niche as a one-stop source for video production, instruction and consulting: "At many mid-major colleges, the barrier keeping the athletic department from riding the streaming wave is simply learning to use the necessary equipment. For those schools, Pack Network provides a flexible, affordable lifeboat." The feature also noted Pack Network's goal to mirror the elements of traditional television in its webcasts and improve the quality of web-only productions. "People don’t expect good production quality from streaming video yet, but they should," Pack Network co-founder K.J. Cardinal told writer Karen Smith.
